Then we drove to Fishersville to see the OB Dr. Brooks, but he said since they were irregular that it was probably "false" labor, that was around 1pm. We went home, watched "A Room with a View" and by 6pm David & I needed a nap and that is when my water broke!! We rushed back to Fishersville and checked into the hospital by 7pm and lasted till about 2am before fatigue and pain necessitated an epidural. The first epidural allowed me almost an hour of sleep before it wore out. Luckily though the second epidural took and after an hour I was fully dilated and ready to push for another two and a half hours! And here is the reward for all that hard work:

um, pretty sure i would eat one of those cupcakes every day for two weeks until it happened.
