11 Questions!

So I've stolen a moment of while Jonathan is playing on the floor with his fisher-price phone & David has volunteered to cook dinner, a french onion soup. I'm afraid that if I don't do it now it won't happen at all! Here I go: to answer the 11 Questions challenge from Bradie

1. coke or pepsi? (don't say pepsi. just kidding.) why?
Coke, hands down, and not just because my mother is addicted to diet coke and I fear she would disown me or because my husband drank it his whole mission because it was safer than the water, it’s because while I don’t even really like it myself it is still better than pepsi & their commercials are better too.  Besides, only Coca-cola has its own “World” and David & I have some great memories there.

2. what is the best dream you've ever had (the short version, of course)?
that’s a tough one because I rarely remember my dreams

but I know I’ve dreamed of swinging in a chair with David on the front part of a wrap around porch while  watching a bunch of little kids play in the yard on a nice sunny day. That was an awesome dream, hopefully a prophetic one.

3. you just can't buy the generic brand of:
toilet paper

4. when you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
don’t make fun of me- a Dixie Chick

5. favorite and least favorite historical figures?
you can’t beat Jesus Christ

The least… hmmm, besides the obvious psychopaths like Hitler & Bin Laden I’d say gosh that’s a hard one, it’s hard to think of anyone without any redeeming qualities & I’m hesitant to judge but I’ll throw the “historic” & Nobel prize winning President Barak Obama out there because I still haven’t received my federal tax return because of his “new” stupid processing policies.

6. what's the worst thing to clean in the house?
the stuff that doesn’t stay done for more than a week!! Everything else is SUPER easy compared to the stuff that piles almost as soon as you’ve finished aka dishes/laundry

7. a word that you love is:
Courtesy. I love everything that courtesy represents. I love that implies mutual respect and understanding. Those who show it are refined & generous. Even those who are non-religious can appreciate it as an attribute of charity.

8. do you know what your name means? if so, what does it mean?
which name? I mostly am called Bear- the fuzzy, growly kind

I go by Ann which is a form of Anna which in Hebrew means Gracious

But my first name is Lauren which is a form of Laura which in Latin refers to laurels

9. if you could go study anything right now for free and no pressure, what would you study?

INTERIOR DESIGN! My dream occupation is to be a window dresser

watching David play with Jonathan
