Housing Project: Living Room

So, we’re finally in where we wanted to live, now I get to make it organized & cozy- in other words, there is still lots to do.

I started in the living room- there is no before picture, it was too awful (half of our belongings crammed in while they put in new flooring- which scuffed because they didn't wax the tiles- grrrrrrrawrr).

1) moved everything out & cleaned the floors, David had to scrub hard with opphs to remove most of the scuffs
2)moved the sofas back in and scooted the entertainment center (stained by David before we left for Christmas) & piano into place (made David move it all around a gazillion time till I settled on this arrangement)
3) cleaned the sofa covers- they got dragged through yuckiness
4) ordered new shelf for David's music & O Jersusalem by Greg Olsen & a wall sconce so the walls wouldn't look SO barren
5) hung everything up & got curtains- which also help the room stay warmer!

as for other news... well, there isn't any really... just that I finalized getting off Spring Break & that my last day nannying is May 13th!
