At 27 Weeks

Sorry for falling off the wagon- I just haven't felt like I had much to say lately... my life is kinda boring. I got to shake it up last week on David's spring break, but now we're back to the real world and it's more depressing than ever. Don't get me wrong, we're getting lots done- I've taken apart a peg perego car seat, washed it, put it back together and installed it- it looks good as new!! I've also finished our emergency car kits and hanging up randoms pictures in the hallway... tonight I'm determined to finish the bathroom & take lots of pictures for good measure.
And because I'm feeling random and blah... here are some pictures that my bosom buddy Hillary took of David and I at my parents house... I realize all my favorites are of us kissing (because it hides my face).

Today is still yucky in VA, but it's suppose to warm up soon!! Hopefully as the sun starts to come back, so will my cheerfulness (and I feel extra guilty about not being bouncy when I have so much that I'm grateful for!!)
I think I need to start keeping a gratitude journal (maybe it will help me write more consistently?).
Yesterday I was grateful that the free car seat we were given was not made within the months that the company had a recall- and that I was able to make it pretty again (it had been gathering dust & spiders in their garage).
I was also grateful that while Langdon was a pill to feed, he napped easy and played happily all day.

Today... today I am grateful that I got to cuddle with my honey before I went to work.

  1. but that picture of your face is gorgeous!
don't worry, i think pregnancy does that to everyone. all the waiting used to make me feel like the only thing i had to say was "i'm still pregnant and still giant and still waiting" - especially toward the end.
the little grateful things on your blog make a difference. you'll look back and remember all the things you liked instead of all the things you didn't.

p.s. - you might need to come again sooner so we can have an excuse for burgers.
