So hopefully with more iron tonight I will do the finishing touches in the kitchen/dinning room & bathroom and take lots of pictures... that is the goal anyways.
hmmm... as for updates... nothing new yet...
except that Stake Conference was this weekend. Early Sat morning David & I went to the Temple, went to a Spanish session and really really enjoyed it. Then we got back in the afternoon & napped till it was time to eat dinner at the in-laws and ride over to Conference. Elder Bruce A. Carlson presided and both times he spoke he focused on preparing for the times by being obedient to the counsel of the Prophet and local leaders. He said there was no reason to be alarmed, but rather that we should be alert... and alert I certainly am now. Yay for almost being done with our 72hr kits. There were no "kick-in-the-pants" messages, but there were also many talks that encouraged me to continue working on what I know I need to work on- namely, focusing on the good in everyone & in finding more joy in every day or not just enduring, but "enduring well".
And for so far today, I am grateful that Langdon has napped, almost since I showed up for work this morning, allowing me to catch up with email and organize "to-do's" for the rest of this week.
oh, and here is what babycenter.com says Jonathan is up to this week:

By this week, your baby weighs two and a quarter pounds (like a Chinese cabbage) and measures 14.8 inches from the top of her head to her heels. She can blink her eyes, which now sport lashes. With her eyesight developing, she may be able to see the light that filters in through your womb. She's also developing billions of neurons in her brain and adding more body fat in preparation for life in the outside world.
*oh, and in case you were wondering about the Chinese cabbage, here's a picture
Oh, a baby cabbage...how cute! I'm sorry to hear about your anemia. That explains you just plain tiredness!!!! Hopefully the iron pills will make a huge difference! Eat more red meat, leafy greens, and beans. I love you & wish I could there. Love always, Mom
ReplyDeleteBaby is getting so big! You should start cooking with a cast iron skillet! That is actually a source of dietary iron.
ReplyDeletereally?! wow... I should tell alison (employer) to get one too- I eat pretty much all 3 meals at work during the week. Right now I'm taking Koala Pals which is a kid multivitamin. I have to take it 4 times a day but because it's a multi supp. it's suppose to prevent the constipation associated with taking iron, so, so far so good!
