David is doing very well, but is very busy. We're excited about his concert Saturday but he also has a round of tests he is in the middle of, on top of side gigs he's picked up to make up for half his piano students being on vacation for the rest of this month. They are great gigs, but with everything else going on I can't think of a day Ethan could be born this month that wouldn't require some expert juggling. Thank goodness whenever it happens we have awesome babysitters for Jonathan and there will be absolutely no worrying about him on top of everything else.
Speaking of Jonathan: (he got stuck in the colander)
He loves to jumpHe loves his Panda "be-be"
he prefers peanut butter and honey or jam sandwiches to pretty much any other food
his top k9s are coming in- one is mostly in the other hasn't broken gum yet
he is still fighting naps time but we've (David) discovered turning on the central fan
for white noise helps tremendously!
He is always making up new dances (last weeks was to face plant on the nearest cushion)
He will fist punch now but will mostly only do it with his uncles
He still wants to touch whatever is on my plate even if he won't eat it
His favorite book is "The Big Hungry Bear" because David does great voices
And soon, very soon, we'll be transitioning, or at least attempting to transition to his "big boy" bed
My house is immaculate (no joke, I pulled out the stove and fridge today to clean sides/under etc.).
Tomorrow I'm putting back in the infant and vacuuming out the car... and I'll go ahead and pack a hospital bag and throw it in the trunk... we are as ready to have this baby now as much as we possibly ever could be!
