Random Projects?

So I've been keeping my hands busy so I don't go crazy waiting for this baby- however I realize that pending Friday's OB visit I might need to slow down. I had a few contractions today, nothing major, and could blamed on minor dehydration (we hadn't replaced the water jug yet and I can't bring myself to drink BV water). Mostly though I'm getting super uncomfortable- lol, like sitting down with my knees as far apart as I can manage (not easy at church) and having super restless nights. It's all apart of the game, but I'm so ready for "game time". Here are a few things that have kept my mind off waiting:

these were slabs of wood I had previously painted to match his crib bedding, but I needed a change so I loosely based these off the gallery of Bob Ramsey (thank you cousin Lauren)- I'm not very good, but I enjoyed it

This is going over Jonathan's toddler bed (once we have it set up)- David did all the hard work, minus the painting and bunting (which was much harder than I thought to make it "durable")

(note- I had to add button holes to accomodate the bumbo's new restraints- by hand!)

I had a paper mache' party and did these letters, an &, and all the holiday letters I plan on using for the rest of the year! Oh, and the paper chain is a countdown to FEb 28- the current due date (31 days!)
oh, and the bookends (not a great picture) are a tiger toy I cut in half and spray painted gold (because that is all I had)

before I put it all together
I had to learn to do the blanket stitch for this-
not difficult but hard to get even

the sad thing is that now I'm considering going back to my original plan to have just dark blue and light blue... it was a miracle Rachel had extra colored felt but now that it's hanging I'm not sure how I feel about it- thoughts anyone?
