in fact, I've redone the spice "rack"
they use to have chalk board surfaces which works
great until you tried to open them and wiped off the spice name
so I painted them with some extra paint I had from (again) redoing my chevrons
and then I redid the jars... I won't go again into the horror of trying to sew with elastic
so I used again red paint that I already had and the little white paint I had left
and thank goodness I still have plenty of acrylic sealer (so they are washable)
here is the metal sheet we bought to cover the ugly ugly ugly white board (not white erasable board)
and here is the white board you can see in the far right corner
and here are the spices (former baby food jars)
here are the neodymium magnets that hold them up
and here they are hanging up
and here are the new jar lids
I wish I could take credit for the idea but I saw it on pinterest
and I wish I could specifically name the lady but her site was in a foreign language and I couldn't actually find the blog page she had them on
don't look too closely, they are far far far from perfect
and here are the jars (all former pickle jars) they will go on
Way cute. I love your craftiness!
