Forgive it's corks, I had to paint it by hand!
I didn't have just black paint so I used chalkboard paint and then just reg white acrylic for the lettering. The tags are chalkboard too so I can always change out the names without having to make new tags as our family grows or hide name tags that aren't being used.
And the other project is another re-do
my EAT "metal" letters just looked way too fake, metallic spray paint just doesn't cut it.
It did however make a good starting point. I sanded it down in a few places, dry brushed black acrylic and then very randomly and lightly added a pearly acrylic metallic. Still fake and somewhat fake looking if you get too close and personal- but it looks a million times better now and really blends with my metal sheet that holds my spices.
and here is Jonathan running a-muck
and his face when he got caught "uh-oh"
then "look what I did"
him trying not to laugh
"you still love me, right?"
hahaha, Jonathan takes out all the shoes trying to tell me, "hey mom, it's time to go somewhere"
